Global warming

Global warming refers to the rising average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans and its projected continuation. In the last 100 years, Earth's average surface temperature increased by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F) with about two thirds of the increase occurring over just the last three decades. Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and scientists are more than 90% certain most of it is caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuel. These findings are recognized by the national science academies of all the major industrialized countries.
Climate model projections are summarized in the 2007 Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). They indicate that during the 21st century the global surface temperature is likely to rise a further 1.1 to 2.9 °C (2 to 5.2 °F) for their lowest emissions scenario and 2.4 to 6.4 °C (4.3 to 11.5 °F) for their highest. The ranges of these estimates arise from the use of models with differing sensitivity to greenhouse gas concentrations.

Blizzard

Blizzards are severe winter storms that pack a combination of blowing snow and wind resulting in very low visibilities.  While heavy snowfalls and severe cold often accompany blizzards, they are not required.  Sometimes strong winds pick up snow that has already fallen, creating a blizzard.  Officially, the National Weather Service defines a blizzard as large amounts of falling OR blowing snow with winds in excess of 35 mph and visibilities of less than 1/4 of a mile for an extended period of time (greater than 3 hours). When these conditions are expected, the National Weather Service may issue a "Blizzard Warning".   When a less severe, but still dangerous, winter storm is expected a "Winter storm Watch" or "Winter storm Warning" may be issued.  A "Winter storm Watch" is issued in advance and means that there is the possibility of a winter storm affecting your area. Keep alert and stay tuned to TV, radio, and other sources of weather information.  A "Winter storm Warning" means a winter storm is imminent or already occurring.

Amazing Day ;)

May 31, 2008, was amazing day for me. Itwas 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon at my room. I was alone in my room. I was reading a magazine. Suddenly, I saw something, it was coming out from the mirror. A few seconds later it said to me " Hi ". After that, I screamed and asked for helping but no someone heard me. shortly after I tried to compose myself and looked at it. Oh! it was the alien, it walked very fast with the strange behavior. Finally, I shuddered and woke up, I thought that I omited to sleep, it was a daydream !!.
